Dashboard & Analytics

A hospital-wide reporting hub: five live-refreshing dashboards covering patient flow, finance, quality & safety, workforce, and day-to-day operations, all reached from one landing page.

01

What this module is for

A read-only reporting layer, no forms to fill in here. Access narrows for the two most sensitive domains: money and people.

Who uses it

Admins, directors, department heads, quality, compliance, and safety officers can see the hub plus Patient Flow, Quality & Safety, and Operations. Financial is narrower, admins, directors, CFO, and finance managers only. Workforce is narrower too, admins, directors, department heads, and HR managers only.

Where to find it

Open Dashboard & Analytics from the sidebar. A hub page with five navigation cards leading to Patient Flow, Financial, Quality & Safety, Workforce, and Operations.

  1. 1

    Open the hub

Four top-line stat tiles plus five cards, one per reporting domain.

  2. 2

    Pick a domain

Each sub-page has its own stat tiles and charts, some with a date-range selector.

  3. 3

    Watch it refresh

Every page auto-refreshes every 30 seconds while "Live" is on; pause it or refresh manually at any time.

A few things you'll notice everywhere

Stat tiles turn red when something needs attention, an alert count above zero, a rate past a safe threshold. There are no export buttons, drill-down clicks, or department filters anywhere in this module, it's a live snapshot, not a report builder.

Good practices

Leave Live turned on during rounds or huddles

The 30-second auto-refresh means the numbers on screen are always current, no need to manually reload before a shift handoff.

Access is domain-gated, not just module-gated

A user might see the hub's Financial or Workforce card but get blocked clicking through, those two domains have narrower role lists than the rest of the module.

Red tiles are the fastest way to triage a busy day

Every domain uses the same convention, a red-highlighted stat tile means it needs attention now, LWBS rate over 2%, denial rate over 10%, O− blood under 5 units, and so on.
